The Electricity Company of Ghana Limited (ECG) has urged customers using the Nuri Prepayment Meters to buy enough top-up credit that will last for at least one month to avoid potential disruption.
ECG said they are upgrading Nuri Prepayment System as part of the Standard Transfer Specification (STS) protocol.
“The Electricity Company of Ghana Limited, wishes to inform our cherished customers using the Nuri Prepayment Meters that, as part of the Standard Transfer Specification (STS) protocol, it has become urgent to upgrade all STS metering system, including the Nuri Prepayment System.” ECG announced in a statement.
“Please buy enough top-up credit that will last for at least one month in order not to experience vending disruptions that might arise out of the ongoing Nuri meter upgrading exercise.” Part of the statement read.
The power supply company called on its customers to call 0302 611611 or contact them via their social media platforms (ECGghOfficial) for assistance.
