The Bono East Regional Chairperson of the New Patriotic Party, Ibrahim Baba Bukari, popularly known as Chairman IB, has urged the youth wing of the party to refrain from engaging in any form of insults during the ongoing camping.

Chairman IB, who was encouraging NPP youth members at Nkwaeso in the Techiman South Metropolitan Assembly, to conduct a house to house campaign for the party said the Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the Parliamentary Candidate for the NPP in Techiman South are honest people who don’t believe in politics of insults and therefore the youth should not include insult of any kind in their diction during their campaign activities.

According to him,  the NPP’s focus is on building a strong and united party that can contribute positive to the nation’s develop and not to engage trade insults with any political party

Chairman Ibrahim, made this assertion during the launching of a youth parliament for the Techiman South Nkwaeso youth wing. He applauded the Nkwaeso NPP youth wing for turning out in their numbers to welcome the regional executives of the party.

“I am overwhelmed with the crowd here, I will plead with you not to be complacent, complacency is the only thing that can prevent us from winning the upcoming elections, looking at the number of people here this evening, it is evidence that the youth in Kwaeso have a great love for the NPP, Dr. Bawumia and Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah.

“I will plead with you not to involve insults in your campaigns because our Presidential Candidate, Dr. Bawumia has good character, he don’t like insults, he respect customs and tradition and so is our Parliamentary Candidate, Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah.

“I know by we will meet here again on 9th December, to celebrate our victory and thank you for your  support.” Chairman IB

Professor Christopher Ameyaw-Akumfi, a former Minister for Ports, Harbours & Railways as well as a former Minister of Education encouraged the youth to contribute their quota in ensuring that the party wins the next elections by engaging in house to house campaign while tolerating the views of others.

Prof. Ameyaw-Akumfi, who is a native of Nkwaeso, promised to build an ultramodern community center for the community on top of the market and water projects he is currently undertaken in the community.

“You all have seen the market, the water projects and other developmental projects in this community, the traditional council says if I am using my land to build a market for this community, then they will also give me the cocoa board land but I am promising you that I will build a community center on that land for the people of Nkwaeso.
