Founder and Leader of the Builders Christian Church International, Bishop Thomas Afari Yeboah, has called on Christians and Ghanaians at large to show love and support to their neighbors during the Christmas festivities.

Bishop Thomas Afari Yeboa, disclosed that Christmas, which is celebrated to mark the birth of Jesus Christ, also signifies the love God has for mankind for “given us his own begotten son” and as such, Christmas celebrations should reflect God’s love in our actions towards others.

According to him, the celebration of Christmas is not just a time to rejoice but also a time to extend a helping hand to those in need. He therefore urged his congregation to reach out to their neighbors and show them kindness, compassion, and support during the holiday season.

“Today is a happy for us, and all the happiness is centered around the birth of Jesus Christ. We are celebrating the goodness and happiness that come with the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

“I want to thank God for His grace and mercies towards Ghana in the year 2024, He has been really good to us a country, we went to the polls without any major violence and for that, we must all thank God.

“The birth of Jesus Christ is testament of the love God has for mankind, and for that matter we must show love towards our neighbors.” He said.

Bishop Thomas Afari Yeboah further encouraged everyone to make peace with their neighbors, including those they feel have wronged them and those they may have wronged.

He called on the youth and Ghanaians at large to live an examplary live that emulates the life of Jesus Christ during the festivities.

“We must forgive those who have wronged us because Jesus came to show us love and deliver us from darkness. As Christians, we are called to be lights in our communities and to live exemplary lives that emulate the life of Jesus Christ.

“Let’s celebrate this festivities with peace and love. I urged the youth to be vigilant as we celebrate this festivities, once we are alive, then it means God has plans for us and we must live to serve God and fulfil the plans He has for us.” He said
