Nyinahin hene in the Ashanti region of Ghana, Nana Amampene Boateng Twum II, has tasked Board of Directors and staff of Amanano Rural Bank PLC at Nyinahin to be strategic, innovative and takes advantage of Nyinahin bauxite prospects to uplift the image of the bank due to competitive environment.

Nana Amampene Boateng Twum II, said this during the 37th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders at Nyinahin Presby Church.

According to him, business have been dynamic and highly sophisticated hence the need for the Board of Directors to be proactive and takes advantage of Nyinahin bauxite as soon as government start the extraction of the bauxite before other financial institutions springs up in the community.

“Government has put measures in place to extract the bauxite in this area, and once is the extraction starts, a lot of banks and other businesses will spring up in this community.

“I always say that we should always try to improve upon our success so we should be the leading bank in this community when the extraction of the bauxite begins but if we don’t put things in order and other banks comes to this area, they will overshadow us.

“Competition is inevitable, either we like it or not, once government starts to extract the bauxite, a lot of financial institutions will come here and they will give you a whole lot of competitions.” Nana said.

Nana Amampene Boateng Twum II, continued “this bank has been serving us in this community for so many years, so I will plead with the Board of Directors to be very strategic and ensure that the Amanano Rural Bank PLC will not be overshadowed by other banks in the near future.”

The Board Chairperson Oheneyere Augustina Asare Osei, was impressed with the bank performances and assured shareholders of more customer’s services in the years ahead.

She explained that, the bank has put measures in place that will help to expand their shares deposits to enhance their investment.

“We always try to improve on our costumer service and we have put in adequate measures in place to ensure that we give our customers the best of banking experiences in the years to come.” She said.

Oheneyere Augustina Asare Osei, express optimistic in the capabilities of the staff of Amanano Rural Bank PLC. She said the bank will continue to be the leading financial institution in Nyinahin irrespective of the financial institutions that will come to the area in the future.

“The new investors that will be coming here are not familiar with the terrain as we do and that gives us a lot of advantage of them, also because of the long standing relationship we have with the community, they trust us and we don’ have to be afraid of the prospect of other financial institutions coming to this area.

“We are trying to improve the use of safety technologies to improve our customer satisfaction, however, there is no need for us to panic because we know the measures we have put in place and the bank will continue to thrive in years to come.” She told our reporter.

The Acting CEO of Amanano Rural Bank PLC, Mr Daniel Bediako, appreciated the support from the Board, Management and Staff for their hard work and determination in uplifting the image of the bank and improving customer satisfaction.

He assured shareholders and customers of the bank that, the bank will continue to deliver the best of customer service and thrive in the years to come.
