Bayern Munich will soon announce the signing of a new long-term contract for star left-back Alphonso Boyle Davies.
The 24-year-old contract with the Germain giants is expected to end at the end of the current football season, however, the Bavarians are not willing to let go off their talented left-back and are close to an agreement with the player over a new contract.
The German champions are eager to secure Davies’ future as they see him as a cornerstone of their team for years to come. Known for his blistering pace, technical skill, and defensive versatility, the 24-year-old Canadian international has established himself as one of the best left-backs in world football since joining Bayern in 2019.
Alphonso Davies has been a subject of numerous transfer rumors with most them linking him to Real Madrid, there are other reports which suggested that Davies will sign for Barcelona once his contract with Bayern Munich ends but latest reports from Germany suggests the player will continue his stay at the Allianz Arena at the end of the 2024 / 2025 football season.
The Athletic (via Relevo), earlier reported that Bayern Munich have submitted another new offer to Davies’ representatives, and this one is more in line with the contract demands that had been established by the Canadian defender. As such, there is now more chance of him staying in Bavaria. The reports further stated that there is now only a small gap between Bayern and the 24-year-old’s expectations on a proposed four-year deal.
It is a four-year contract that is on the table, and it is accepted, Real Madrid’s chances of signing Davies would go up in smok
