The flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will on Monday, September 9th, 2024 file his presidential nominations at the Electoral Commission’s headquarters.
In a statement signed by Justin Kodua Frimpong, the General Secretary of the party said Bawumia would address party sympathizers and the general public at the party’s national headquarters after filing the nominations.
“The Vice President and Leader of the Party would be accompanied by his running mate and vice presidential candidate, Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the party’s national chairman, the general secretary, the majority leader in Parliament, the national campaign chairman, Mr. Dan Botwe, and a few party leaders.” The Statement said.
“After submitting his presidential nomination, the presidential candidate would address party sympathizers and the general public at the party’s national headquarters at 9:00 a.m.” It added.
The Electoral Commission has opened nominations for President and Members of Parliament for the 2024 General elections from Monday, 9th September, 2024 to Friday, 13th September, 2024.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is pleased to announce to the general public that the party’s 2024 presidential candidate, H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, will file his presidential nomination on Monday, September 9, 2024, at the Electoral Commission’s headquarters.
The Vice President and Leader of the Party would be accompanied by his running mate and vice presidential candidate, Hon.
