B/E: “we have pledged to be united to break the 8” – Harriet Oppong

The New Patriotic Party’s Parliamentary Candidate for Nkoranza South, Harriet Kyeremateng Oppong, has disclosed that members of the Party within the Bono East Region have pledged to campaign for the party with all their strengths in order to break the 8.

The special aide to the Chief of Staff and Deputy Director of Political Affairs at the Office of the Chief of Staff, made this revelations when speaking with the media at the Yaw Kramo Community Center at Bamiri in the Techiman South Municipality just after the inauguration of the Bono East Region NPP’s campaign team for the 2024 general elections.

The Nkoranza South NPP Parliamentary Candidate, who is also a member of the Bono East NPP campaign team, highlighted the party’s commitment, dedication, and resolve to mobilize resources, energize supporters, and engage voters in the upcoming elections to secure electoral victories and achieve their goal of breaking the 8.

Harriet Kyeremateng Oppong underscores the importance of unity, coordination, and strategic planning in shaping campaign strategies, messages, and activities that resonate with the electorate, inspire confidence, and drive turnout for the party’s candidates.

“The party has officially launched Bono East regional campaign team of which I am part, we have been told to approach the election as a united front because if we are united as a party, we will break the 8 and we have all pledged to be united and use all our energy and strength to campaign for the party.” She said

According to her, the top hierarchy of the party have promised to support the campaign team with all the logistics they will need during their campaign as she is of the view that, the timely execution of these logistics will go a long way in securing victory for the party come December 2024.

“They have also assured us that, all the logistics we will need for the campaign will be provided on time, the timely execution of some of these things will help us, if we wait only to get these logistic on the last minute will not help us so their assurance, dedication and commitment in ensuring that we get these logistics on time has given we the campaign team great hope in executing our duties.” Harriet Kyeremateng Oppong stated.

The commitment to break the 8 signifies the party’s ambition, vision, and determination to secure a historic electoral victory, consolidate its position, and sustain its leadership in the Bono East Region.

The NPP aims to strengthen its base, expand its appeal, and connect with voters on key issues, policies, and priorities that matter most to the region’s development, prosperity, and well-being By setting high targets, mobilizing resources, and executing targeted outreach programs and events,

Harriet Kyeremateng Oppong highlights said the NPP seeks to build a broad-based, enthusiastic, and resilient campaign network that reflects the collective voice, energy, and spirit of the people in the Bono East Region
