Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu has once again been honored by Sarkis Peace Cup for supporting community development in the country.
The organizers of the Sarkis Peace Cup, led by Mohammed Laryea, expressed their appreciation to the President and Founder of the Afro-Arab Group of Companies, Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu with a citation for his unwavering support of the 23rd edition of the tournament.
The colourful event was held at Sheikh Dr. Osman Nuhu Sharubutu’s Astro Turf in Fadama, in Accra, the capital city of Ghana when Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu was the Special Guest of Honor for the 2nd edition of the Sarkis Peace Cup.

Presenting the citation, Mohammed Laryea expressed profound gratitude for the support and urged other corporate bodies to follow Ambassador Amadu’s exemplary gesture to enhance national development.
He emphasized the importance of the platform created by the Sarkis Peace Cup, which uses football as a vehicle to promote peace, educate the youth about the dangers of drug abuse, raise awareness about electoral violence, and provide young talent with opportunities to shine on a larger stage. This initiative aims to foster community and national development.
For his part, Dickson Boadi who received the citation on behalf of Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu thanked the organizers for the recognition and assured them that Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu and the Afro-Arab Group will continue to support the communities and Sarkies Peace Cup.
He commended the organizers for their commendable efforts and pledged continuous support for future editions of the tournament.
The Sarkis Peace Cup continues to be a vital initiative in promoting peace and development within the Zongo communities and beyond, providing a positive outlet for the youth and encouraging community cohesion through the sport of football.
