Former President and flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama, has warned all those who will serve in his next government must distance themselves from any misconduct.
The former President says his next government will be accountable, and any appointee found guilty of wrongdoing will be punished.
He added that while his government holds the previous administration accountable for any wrongdoing, anyone in his administration accused of misconduct would also face punishment.
“For those who wish to serve in the new administration, know that you are coming to serve in an administration of modesty, you are coming to serve in an administration of honesty, you are coming to serve in an administration of hard work, and you are coming to serve in an administration of accountability.
“And so as we hold the previous government for wrong doings, if you serve in the next John Mahama’s government, if you are accused of wrongdoing, you will also be punished and held accountable.” He said
The former President assured Ghanaians that he will remain truthful and avoid making promises he cannot fulfil as he campaigns for votes ahead of the December 7 polls.

Mahama’s warning comes as a reminder to all those who aspire to serve in his government that they will be held accountable for their actions. It is a clear message that corruption and misconduct will not be tolerated and that those who engage in such behaviour will face the consequences in the next NDC government.
Former president John Dramani Mahama who is seeking to rule the country has vowed to do everything possible to improve the standard of living of the citizens.
According to him, the current economic situation in Ghana is very worrying so Ghanaians should vote for the NDC to turn the nation around.
