Ailing Ghanaian woman living in South Africa is appealing to Ghanaians to come to her aid to send her 2-year-old boy to Ghana.

According to Rita Quaye, her health condition makes it difficult to take good care of the boy.

She said sending her 2-year-old boy to Ghana will help her to save some money and return to Ghana after her second hip replacement after one year.

“My family knows my situation and they wish I could send the child to them but the money for the ticket is the problem. The family wishes to send me money for his ticket but we are financially unstable.” The 39-year-old woman made this appeal in an interview with Elvis Anokye TV on YouTube.

“Doctors have advised me not to lift heavy anything but he is also around me and I don’t have a choice so he must go home for me to release some stress.” She said.

“I am pleading with family, friends and everyone to support me financially to send my 2-year-old boy home (Ghana) and pay my boss. This is my main concern now so that one year after the hip-replacement, I will also go back home (Ghana). My parents say I should bring the boy home and join my first daughter, even though they don’t have money but they can manage and take care of them.” Madam Rita stated.

She revealed that the father of the 2-year-old boy has refused to accept the child as his son. Adding that life has become unbearable for her after the father of the child abandoned them.
