Entertainment pundit and politician, Kwame Obeng Asare widely known as A-Plus has taken a swipe at renowned journalist, Kwami Sefa Kayi for questioned where will the Leader of Movement for Change, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen will appoint his Ministers when elected as the president of Ghana.

During Kookroko discussion of Accra-based Peace FM, the host, Sefa Kayi asked a communication member for Movement for Change where Alan Kyerematen appointed his Ministers.

According to Article 78 (1) of the 1992 constitution, Ministers of State shall be appointed by the President with the prior approval of Parliament from among members of Parliament or persons qualified to be elected as members of Parliament, except that the majority of Ministers of State shall be appointed from among members of Parliament.

Sefa Kayi is wondering whether Alan Kyerematen will appoint NDC or NPP MPs as his Ministers.

“Let me ask you one more question, looking at the 1992 constitution of the Republic of Ghana and you are advocating that Ghanaians should vote for Alan Kyerematen’s Movement for Change, where will he appoint his Ministers? Will he appoint the same NPP and NDC Ministers or where will he appoint them? He asked.

Reacting to this,. A-Plus on Facebook post said Alan Kyerematen will appoint them from where you went to collect millions of Ghana cedis to do damage control when Banks were closed down.

He believes Sefa Kayi posed that question to the communicator in order to make the Movement for Change unpopular for the benefit of the NPP.

“He will appoint them from where you went to collect millions of Ghana cedis to do damage control on behalf of the government when banks were closed down. Ofui!!” A-Plus posted.

Many Ghanaians especially the Minority believes the Peace FM morning show host (Kwami Sefa Kayi) is now speaking for the ruling government on his program after President Akufo-Addo has appointed him as a member of the board of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA).
