Rodrygo, who got a knock during Real Madrid’s triumphant victory over Borussia Dortmund last Tuesday at the Santiago Bernabéu, is expected to be sidelined for approximately 20 days. This unfortunate development means that the 23-year-old forward will miss crucial matches, including the highly anticipated El Clásico against Barcelona.

Latest medical reports from the Madrid medical team indicates that, de Goers will miss at least 4 matches for Real Madrid and that includes Saturday’s topliner against Barcelona at the Bernabéu.

Barcelona under new coach Hans-Dieter Flick is in a very good form, winning 9 and losing one in the 10 La Liga games played this season. Barca is currently occupying the first position with 27 points, scoring 33 and conceding 10 goals in the league.

Fans of Real Madrid are undoubtedly disappointed by Rodrygo’s injury, as his absence will be felt both on the field and in the stands.
