Golden Pen School (GPS) a standardized school with modern facilities which combines American and UK styles and methods of teaching without compromising the GES approved curriculum.
Otumfuo Safiesohene Nana Akwasi Amoaten, also Abuakwa-Kegyasehene, has advised parents to invest in their children’s education.
Nana Amoaten said investing in children’s education is the only way parents could guarantee a better future for their children to be members of parliament, ministers of state, lawyers, chiefs journalists, bank managers who can maintain and drive the country’s human resource and development.
Kegyasehene Nana Amoaten, gave the advice during the second graduation ceremony of Golden Pen School at Kegyase in Atwima Nwabiagya municipality of Ashanti region.
He said: “education is the best legacy and inheritance we can give to our children”.
“It should be a joint effort of the society to give adequate education to our children. Quality and good education enhance the overall development of a child and the nation as a whole”, Nana Amoaten stressed.
He urged parents and guardians to bring their wards to facilities such as Golden Pen School, and ensure they will visit their children, collaborate between teachers and parents for feedback on children’s performance.
Nana Amoaten also urged the pupils to eschew all forms of negativities and take their education seriously and noted that it was the only way by which they could excel to the highest level.
He also commended the school management for their hard work in maintaining discipline and a high standard of teaching especially the introduction of American and UK style of teaching and learning to focus on the moral development of the pupils.
