Ghanaian actress, Felicity Ama Agyemang, also known as Nana Ama McBrown has warned musician Empress Gifty to call her directly and explained the reason behind her absence at Onua Showtime.
According to the host of Onua Showtime, it was sad that Empress Gifty failed to attend the show without calling or sending her message directly before the show.
Addressing her audience, McBrown lamented last minute cancellation of the show which left her audience in suspense.
“It is 15 minutes to 10pm, and I want to apologize to Ghanaians before we continue the show. As you saw on flyers that there were some people on the show including Empress Gifty. We were told right now that she can not come and so we have nothing to do. We can’t do anything about it so we will apologize to Ghanaians and the fans who were expecting her.” She said.
“Whatever the situation, we wish her luck. But we don’t know and she has not given us the details, we thank her for at least telling us but it pained us that she couldn’t come and at the last minute, Empress you are telling me that you can’t come to my show. You have my telephone number, Whatsapp and direct.”
“What has happened to you and I will force you to come to my show and you couldn’t call me. You asked your producer to call my producer, will you be happy if I do the same to you? But it is fine, at the end of the day we are praying that God will deliver you from whatever has happened to you so that we can meet tomorrow. Call me, or I won’t forgive you.” McBrown warns.
Meanwhile, Empress Gifty through her publicist, Edem Tsotorme has apologized for the inconvinience.
According to him, the musician failed to attend the show because her daughter was seriously sick that very day.
He explained that in the process of attending to her daughter’s situation at Akosombo, she lost her phone and a lot of people couldn’t reach her that day.
Edem denies claims that Empress Gifty failed to attend the show due to some feud between them.
