The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama has reacted to his position on the ballot paper for the 2024 general elections.
The former president picked number eight (8) on the ballot paper.
Reacting to this, Mr. Mahama stated that he is excited he has been placed on 8th position on the ballot paper for the December polls.
He entreated the NDC supporters and Ghanaians as a whole to work hard and make the 8th position a number of hope and change in the elections.
“I am excited that we picked No. 8 on the ballot for the upcoming presidential elections. Let’s make this a number of hope and change on 7th December.” Mahama wrote on his Facebook .
The balloting has generated heated arguments on social media, especially from supporters of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the main opposition the NDC.
The NDC believes John Dramani Mahama, placed on the 8th position on the ballot paper will end the NPP’s “breaking the 8” mantra. While the NPP are also jubilating for picking number one (1).
