Ghanaian actor, model, producer, director and a philanthropist, Prince David Osei has expressed shock at former President John Dramani Mahama’s proposal to make nightclubs operate 24 hours.
The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said if Ghanaians give him the mandate in the December 7 polls, he will make sure that nightclubs operate 24 hours as part of his 24 hour economy promise which according to him will create job opportunities for Ghanaians.
Many people have raised concerns about the former president’ proposal.
Reacting to this, David Prince Osei who is the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) sympathizer said Mr. Mahama’s proposal can not be possible since night clubs operate in night
“I heard someone talking about licensing night clubs (discotek) and *hook ups* to operate 24/7, which doesn’t seem feasible as night clubs are supposed to operate at night.” The actor wrote on his X.
According to him, the Vice President and flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s digitalization drive is making an impact on Ghanaians and that people should not be deserved by the promises of the former president.
He said it is important for the voters to make a good choice by voting for someone who can promote the development of the country, not just a promise.
“On another note, our Vice President Dr Bawumia has been making a positive impact on Ghanaians through digitalization. It’s important to make wise choices, especially when it comes to voting. Let’s vote for progress. Good morning Fam” David Prince Osei stated.
Ghanaians will soon elect a new president for the next four years.
The 2024 elections are between former President John Dramani Mahama’s 24 hour economy promise and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s digitalization.
