Vision FC has secured their first win in the 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League season, defeating Accra Lions 2-0.

The game, which took place at the Accra Sports Stadium h was vision FC second game in the league as debutants and also their first away Premier League of the season.

Although the home team, Accra Lions, dominated the game creating some decent chances but it was the visitors who did the needful to secure the first 3 points of the season.

Elijah Addai, opened the scoring on the 44th minute when he scored Vision FC first goal of the season which put the debutants ahead just before halftime.

Accra Lions came to the second half with intense energy but failed to capitalize on any of their chances. Emmanuel Kyei Baffour gave Vision FC the cushion on the 85th minute, securing the win for coach Nana Kweku Agyemang’s team.

The win marks a significant milestone for Vision FC, as it is their first victory as debutants, the team is yet to loose a game in this season’s league, they held Berekum Chelsea to a goalless draw  at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex on Saturday, September 7, 2024 on match day 1.

The win against Accra Lions has lifted Vision FC to the third  position on the league standings.

With this victory under their belt, Vision FC will look to continue their winning streak in their upcoming matches, aiming to make a lasting impact in the league this season.

They will play home to Legon Cities on 21st September, 2024 at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex.
