So that our country continues to be a trailblazer for the rest of the continent and beyond.” IGP said during a meeting with the EC Chairperson.

“We want to also use this to urge all the stakeholders, especially the political parties, that all the issues and concerns that they may have in the course of this part of the process, they should ensure that they use due process of engagement within the law to handle every situation. We don’t want to see any situation where anybody would attempt to take the law into his own hands. If that happens, we would work within the law to deal with the situation.” He added.

According to him, there is only one Ghana and that the peace, security and order in the country need to be protected.

“And we ask the good people of this country to support us with this regard. Because we will not allow any individual or group of individuals to do anything that will affect the sanctity of peace, security and order of this country.
