Chief of Nkyeraa in the Wenchi Municipality of the Bono region, Odeniho Nana Tabiri Yeboah III, has expressed deep disappointment in the Ghana Tourism Authority and the central government for their failure to develop th Nkyeraa Waterfalls.

Odeniho Nana Tabiri Yeboah III, explained that, successive governments have promised to develop the site but nothing has been done yet so far as the development of the Nkyeraa Waterfalls is concern.

The Nkyeraa Waterfalls, known for its breathtaking natural beauty and potential tourists, has long been seen as a valuable asset for the local community. However, despite the government’s initial enthusiasm, little progress has been made in transforming the site into a thriving tourist destination.

The potential of Nkyeraa Waterfalls is immense, but without proper investment and development, it remains a hidden gem. We hope that the government will take immediate action to revive its plans and work towards transforming Nkyeraa into a world-class tourist destination.

“We must show keen interest in our tourist sites because it is one of the avenues of which we can generate a lot of revenue, we have a beautiful waterfalls at NKyeraa, government has told us to wait for investors to come and develop the site for us.

“We have waited for a very long time and no investor has show up to invest the waterfall for us, there are a lot of tourist attractions in the erstwhile Bono Ahafo region which needs to be developed, so I am using this opportunity to appeal to all well meaning Ghanaians, stakeholders and philanthropists to come to our aid and developing our waterfalls. He said

According to him, the Nkyeraa waterfalls is very beautiful and needs to be developed in order for the people of NKyeraa, Bono, Bono East, Ahafo and Ghana at large to get he maximum benefits from it.
