Former President and Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has called on all registered voters to exercise their democratic right and vote out the NPP government in the upcoming elections.

John Mahama, urged all and sundry to seek for change in the December polls by voting massively for the NDC as he is of the view that Ghanaians are fed-up with how President Nana Addo has managed the country for the last eight years and needs a new person to lead the country.

He however ascertained that, any vote for the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is a vote for President Nana Addo and that will undermine the change Ghanaians seek.

The former President indicated that a lot of potential investors are not comfortable investing in Ghana due to the current economic challenges in the country and will only invest in the country when there is a change in government.

“A vote for NPP again will be a vote for a third term for Nana Akufo-Addo and it will send a signal to the rest of the world that we are happy, we are satisfied with what has gone on over the last 8 years.

“I have met several investors and all of them are saying they are waiting to see the results of the elections before they come to invest their money here in Ghana and so we should not make a mistake with this particular elections, it is an election like no other, the stake are the highest, it will determine the future of our country.” He said.

Mahama expressed confidence that the NDC, with its comprehensive agenda and commitment to serving the people, is the best choice for voters seeking real change in Ghana

John Dramani Mahama said this at the Bawku Naba’s palace during his campaign tour of the Upper East Region.

He further urged all electorates to vote in both the presidential and parliamentary elections, while voting massively for all NDC parliamentary candidates as well as himself to send a signal to the international community that Ghanaians are not satisfied with how the NPP government is ruling the country.

“Vote in both the Presidential and Parliamentary elections, that is the beauty of democracy, every four years you get the opportunity to make a change and do think that on 7th December Ghanaians are going to vote for change.

“We are going to vote for change for several reasons, the first being that we need to send a signal both to the country and to the international community, that we are not satisfied and happy with what is going on in Ghana.
