The Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency in the Central Region has emphasized the need for Ghanaians to travel outside and be exposed to different things.
He said the best education every human being should have is exposure. Adding that Ghanaians who have traveled outside to see different environments and how things work have different perceptions on many things.
According to him, some people have acquired degrees and other high education profiles but they have not seen what they write and say physically.
“The best education every human being will have is exposure. You see? We don’t give respect to people who have learnt and have so many degrees and everything. Sometimes, whatever they are writing they have not even seen it physically but I have seen it. Those Ghanaians who travel outside the country to see what they have seen over there, when they come their perception to things change.” The outspoken Legislature stated in an interview with Ghanaian YouTuber, Kwadwo Sheldon.
He said he has confidence and speaks about big things because of the exposure and the type of people we deal with. People think he is rude.
“Exposure is the best education anyone can have. Because of my exposure and the type of people I’ve dealt with in business, I can adapt and speak confidently about these experiences.” Ken. Aggyapong said.
The former New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful indicated that don’t go into meetings and talk about $50 million or $100 million, they talk about billions and the factories and industries he has been exposed to give him the confidence that he can also do it as a Ghanaian.
“I have been to so many countries in the world and I have had several meetings and let me tell you, I don’t go into meetings and talk about $50 million or $100 million. We talk billions. The companies I’ve dealt with always talk billions. And when they take you to their factories, industries for you to see what they have done. It gives me encouragement that look, as a black man, a Ghanaian, I can also do it.”He emphasized.
He said whatever he is saying is something that he has seen elsewhere that it is working that is why he also believes in it.
“So whatever I am saying I have seen elsewhere that it is working that is why I believe in it” Kennedy Agyapong added.
