The Bono East Regional Minister, Hon. Kwasi Adu-Gyan, has urged Ghanaians to support and participate in Dr. Bawumia’s digitization initiatives.

The Minister said ICT and digitalization have become the order of the day and Dr. Bawumia and the NPP led government digitalization campaign aligns with global trends, best practices, and policy priorities that recognize the centrality of technology in shaping the future of work, education, healthcare, communication, and social interaction.

Hon.  Adu-Gyan stressed on the government’s commitment in building a digital economy, society, and governance system that leverages technology to drive sustainable development, promote inclusion, and create opportunities for growth and prosperity for all citizens in the region and beyond.

He therefore encouraged every Ghanaian  irrespective of their geographical location or Status in life to take advantage of NPP Government’s policies and programs to get on board Dr. Bawumiah’s Digitalization Drive.

“Ghana is the leading country in digitalization in Africa, so if you are Ghanaian and wants to excel in your field, then you have to integrate ICT in whatever you are doing, this Government is committed and its digitalization campaign and as such as make provision for every single Ghanaian, irrespective of location, physicality or socio-economic background to benefit from all ICT related projects.

“Now everything has been digitalized, you can only use phones when you have a fair knowledge about ICT, all our transactions are done through ICT and that is why the government is keen in educating every Ghanaian on ICT hence the Digital Transformation Center Project.” The minister said

By encouraging all and sundry to get on board with digitalization, the Minister seeks to create awareness, build capacity, and foster a culture of digital literacy, innovation, and collaboration that empowers individuals to harness the power of technology for their personal and professional advancement.
