The Member of Parliament for Effiduase-Asokore Constituency in the Ashanti region, Hon. Nana Ayew Afriyie, has called on members of the New Patriotic Party at Offinso North to set aside their differences and unite in support of their Parliamentary Candidate.
Addressing party members and supporters during the Offinso North Constituency Campaign Team launch, Hon. Nana Ayew Afriyie who was the National Representative said “there might have been camps or divisions amongst you during the Presidential and Parliamentary Primaries but now that the party has settled on our preferred Candidates, all should unite and ensure that we Break The 8 while voting massively for Hon. Dr Fred Kyei Asamoah as the Offinso North MP and Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumiah as President of Ghana.”
“Through dialogue, engagement, and reconciliation, party members can overcome internal divisions, build trust, and forge alliances that strengthen the party’s unity, resilience, and electoral competitiveness, enabling them to present a united front, articulate a compelling message, and mobilize support for the party’s candidates in the constituency and across the country.”
He expressed confidence in the campaign team and charged them with preparing a good campaign message that will win massive votes for Dr. Aljahi Bawumia and Dr. Fred Kyei during the December polls while taking them to ensure that they approach the election with a united front.
“We need a very good campaign to win the parliamentary seat in Offinso North and also get massive votes for Dr. Bawumia in the December polls, that is why the leadership of the party have blend some of you whom we consider as veterans as whereas those who are new in politics to form the campaign team for Offinso North.
“Its very painful when you lose election and you also feel very happy once you win an election so we charge you to do away with all factions in the party, settle all your differences and rally behind your Parliamentary Candidate because that is the only way to ensure that we win the Offinso North election and also break the 8.” Hon. Nana Ayew Afriyie told our reporter.
Some campaign team members in an interview with our reporter said, “we will all unite as a party and vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Dr. Fred Kyei so that NPP can continue its good works.
Another sad, “we must all work as a team to ensure victory for Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah as our Member of Parliament and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the next President of the Republic of Ghana, so for now all that is important is unity because it is possible for us to break the 8.”
