During a media interview, Apostle Peter expressed his appreciation for the support given by the council members while revealing that, the council during his tenure in office has secured land to build their administrative block.

“The council’s successful acquisition of land for their building demonstrates their commitment to establishing a physical space for their activities. This can provide a central location for meetings, events, and community engagement.”

“God has been good to the council and my administration, through the grace of God, we have been able to provide land for the construction of an administrative block for the council, during my tenure of office, with the help of God, I have been able to provide office equipment and also we have been able to stabilize the finances of the council.” He revealed.

The outgoing Chairperson of the council urged all churches within the Techiman South Municipality to join the Techiman Local Council of Churches as it provides a lot of benefits to its members.

Rev Dr. Roland Okai, the new Chairperson of the Techiman Local Council of Churches, expressed his commitment to moving the council forward from where the old executives left it.

Dr. Roland Okai appealed to all well-meaning people of Techiman to help the council build a befitting office complex for the Techiman Local Council of Churches.

” The council has come very far, with the grace of God our past Chairman has done a lot, he has acquired land for us to construct our own offices, in terms of finances, they have improved the finances of the council, they came and met only GHc20.00 in our account but they have handed over GHc4,000 and that is very commendable, they have set a good example for we the new executives to follow.”

“Our vision is to build a worship and meeting place for all churches within the municipality and we aimed to get it started this year so we will plead with all political parties, churches, and individuals to come to our aid when the time is due.” Rev. Dr. Roland Okai said.
