The Member of Parliament for Pru West, Hon. Stephen Jalulah, has appealed to the New Patriotic Party delegates of Pru West to vote for him in the upcoming NPP parliamentary primaries.

Hon. Stephen Jalulah made this assertion after he passed the Bono East Regional NPP vetting process which was held at Techiman on last Friday, 5th January, 2024.

Among the three siting New Patriotic Party Members of Parliament in the Bono East Region, Hon. Stephen Jalulah was the only MP that was contested for the upcoming primaries of the party scheduled to take place on January 20, 2024 across all the 174 constituencies in the country.

While Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, Member of Parliament for Techiman South Constituency and Hon. Alexander Gyan of Kintampo South were unopposed, Hon. Stephen Jalulah was opposed by a former District Chief Executive of Pru West, Hon. Mohammed Idi Garba.

However, Hon. Stephen is of the view that, the contest from Hon. Garba is a demonstration of good democracy that is being practice at the NPP at Pru West.

“It tells me that democracy is working, this is all about showcasing our ideas, someone believes that he can do far better than what I have done, now it’s left for the delegates to listen to our message and decide who to choose as their representative come December 7th.” He said.

The legislature explained that, he has done enough work at Pru West that will propel him to victory in the January 20th NPP primaries. According to him, no Member of Parliament in the history of Pru West has achieve the fate he has achieved in terms of infrastructure development and human resource development.

“I feel that so far, the work I have done in Pru West, I can beat my chest and say that no MP in the history of Pru West has achieved same in terms infrastructure development and Human resource development. We have public growth and personal growth but what I have done is mostly public growth.”

He explained that, although money is very important in the lives of individuals but he urged the NPP delegates and people of Pru West not to concentrate much on their personal growth but rather public growth as he believes that by so doing, the constituency will develop at a rapid which will turn positively affect the lives of the people living in the constituency.

Hon. Stephen Jalulah, appealed to the New Patriotic Party delegates of Pru West to vote massively for him come January 20th.
