Akwasi Aboagye, Andy Dosty, Arnold, Bull dog, Abeiku Santana others are obstacles of Ghana music – Shatta Wale

Ghanaian dancehall artist Charles Nii Armah Mensah Junior, popularly known as Shatta Wale seems to have discovered the problem facing Ghana music industry.

According to him, some groups of people pretend to love the progress of Ghana Music but they are the real obstacle the entertainment industry is battling with.

In a facebook post, Shatta Wale listed eight people who, according to him, are the enemies to Ghana music and called on the authorities to ban them from both radio and television to pave the way for the success of the music industry.

These people include Akwasi Aboagye, Andy Dosty, Arnold, Ola, Mr Logic, Bull dog, Sally, Abeiku Santana.

It is recalled that the super star has clashed with these people and some media personalities accusing them of anti-Ghana music indtry progress.

“Before Ghana music will stand, These people must be Banned from radio and Tv” Shatta Wale posted.

“Akwasi Aboagye, Andy Dosty, Arnold, Ola, Mr Logic, Bull dog, Sally, Abeiku Santana” He listed.

Shatta Wale further explained these people are just pained and have no sense of creativity, describing them as disappointed celebrities.

“They are just pained !!!!, They have no sense of creativity !!!, Disappointed Celebrities !!!” Shatta Wale added.

Deputy Minister for Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Mark Okraku-Mantey has called on Musicians, Managers and other stakeholders in the entertainment industry to collaborate with Disc Jockeys (DJs) to ensure that local songs will be played particularly this Christmas festivals.

He said, it is about time Ghanaian songs are played at nightclubs, restaurants, pubs, TV stations, presenters, even churches—it’s intentional.

To this end, Mark Okraku urged artistes to respect DJs to ensure effective collaboration in the industry.

“This is where this whole challenge of not playing Ghana, the root, begins. Let’s coexist; let’s respect each other so we can work together. And so this Christmas; nightclubs, restaurants, pubs, TV stations, presenters, even churches—it’s intentional. Let the Ghanaian music play; it’s about time,” he said.
