Former SRC president of the University of Ghana, Maradona Yeboah Adjei, also known by his stage name Guru has reaffirmed his commitment to serve in Ghana’s politics.
Responding to questions about the possibility of him running for political office in the future on Joy Prime, Guru stated that his experience as a former UG SRC president permits him to lead any political position in Ghana.
According to him, anyone who has led the University of Ghana can automatically hold any portfolio in Ghana.
“It is all about providing services, giving the necessary help to your community which is easy. If you are able to lead a whole University of Ghana, you can lead Ghana. With the experience from University of Ghana, you can represent anywhere and can even do better.” Guru said.
“I can lead any portfolio, and looking at the entire Parliament and the government administration, everything you see, someone like Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa, Haruna Iddrisu and even my President……..This is where we start from.” He added.
