Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Salim Adams is set to leave the club as a free agent after refusing to extend his contract, sources close to the player have confirmed.
Salim, who has been fantastic for the Phobians, turned down the contract extension, which has become a big problem for the club, paving the way for his exit at the end of his current contract.
The player had already communicated to the club management that he was not willing to extend his contract with the club. With only one month left on his contract, Salim is set to leave on a free transfer at the end of the contract.
Adams’ departure will be a significant blow to Hearts of Oak, as he has played an instrumental role in the team’s midfield over the past seasons. His ability to dictate play, break up opposition attacks, and contribute to the team’s offensive play made him a vital asset to the club.
Meanwhile, Accra Hearts of Oak has excluded the player from their plans for the rest of the season.
