The Office of Movement for Change Leader, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen has dismissed fake appointment letter circulating on social media.
It is alleged in the said letter signed by the Acting Spokesperson for the President, Mr. Felix Kwakye Ofosu that the former Trade and Industry Minister has been appointed by President John Dramani Mahama as the Acting Chief Director Tasked with establishing the 24 Hour Economy Policy.
“Former Minister for Trade and Industry and flagbearer of the Movement for Change, Mr. John Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng has been appointed Acting Director tasked with establishing the 24 Hour Economy Policy due to his wealth of ideas and experience at the Trade and Industry via the Great Transformational Plan (GTP) which he delivered to President Mahama a couple of weeks ago.”
But Kwame Owusu Danso, Esq., Special Advisor on Communications to Alan Kyerematen has described malicious fabrication intended to mislead the public.

John Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng appointed Acting Chief Director Tasked with establishing the 24 Hour Economy Policy
Former Minister for Trade and Industry and flagbearer of the Movement for Change, Mr. John Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng has been appointed Acting Director tasked with establishing the 24 Hour Economy Policy due to his wealth of ideas and experience at the Trade and Industry via the Great Transformational Plan (GTP) which he delivered to President Mahama a couple of weeks ago.
Mr. Kyeremateng will be responsible for setting up the 24 Hour Economy Board and Secretariat, one of the key promises in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) 2024 manifesto. The establishment of the Board will be under the directive of the Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry.
Mr. Kyeremateng has previously worked under the leadership of President John Agyekum Kuffour and President Akufo-Addo as a Minister for Trade and Industry. He is also the founder and Leader for the Movement for Change.
This appointment reflects President Mahama’s commitment to an all-inclusive governance that enhances and ensures the development of our Economy through the creation of jobs.
