Hajia Abibata Shanni Mahama Zakariah has resigned from her post as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) with immediate effect.
According to the former NPP Parliamentary Aspirant for the Yendi Constituency in the Northern region, her decision to resign is to allow new leadership to guide the organization.
In her official resignation letter addressed to the Chief of Staff at the Office of the President and copied to the Secretary to the President, Hajia Mahama Zakariah stated that “I am writing to formally resign from my position as Chief Executive Officer of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre with immediate effect. Over the years, it has been a privilege to serve and contribute to the growth and success of MASLOC. However, I believe this is the right moment for me to step down and allow new leadership to guide the organization.”
She expressed her appreciation to the Board, Management, and the staff for the support and collaboration she received during her term in office.
The former lawmaker promised to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities.
“I am deeply grateful for the support and collaboration I have received from the Board, Management, and our talented staff. I remain confident in the continued success of MASLOC and will do everything possible during this transition period to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities.” Part of the resignation letter read.
“Thank you once again for the opportunity to head the Centre. I am proud of what we have accomplished together and wish the Centre, its employees, and stakeholders all the best in the future.”
Hajia Abibata Shanni Mahama Zakariah served as Deputy CEO and later became the substantive CEO during the eight (8) years administration of former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo,
