Renowned Ghanaian MC, David Adjei Frimpong popularly known as MC Portfolio has responded to Shatta Wale fans and other entertainment pundits who are criticizing him for accepting GH₵ 5000 from Shatta Wale on live TV.
According to MC Portfolio, his loyalty is not tied to money and for that matter Shatta Wale can not buy him with 5K.
After Shatta Wale gifted him 5K on live TV, many have given different meaning to the gift with perception that accepting 5K from his favorite artiste’s main rival Shatta means he will betray Stonebwoy.
But in a series of Tweets, Portfolio stated his heart remains pure for the BHIM nation boss.
“Funny y’all SM think I can be bought with 5K something God can help Me make in 2hours? for all the sacrifices and hell I went through for SHATA KIP project without requesting a dime? Some y’all SM guys funny !” He posted
“If my loyalty was tied to money, do you know how much I would have made from STONEBWOY by now ? Do you all know what that man can do for people and caution them not to announce publicly ! I hope 1GAD knows my intentions remain pure” Portfolio wrote.
“In all this ,I don’t expect STONEBWOY to choose me anymore, he doesn’t have to but I will always choose him , not because he is flawless, because I owe him that ! No one will go the extent he has gone for me ! It’s also ok to show love frm afar”
MC Portfolio also expressed his disappointment in DJ Slim over his impression of the gift.
“Boss @djsliming, woke up highly disappointment snr! The wrong impressions created in your editorial has the tendency to ruin my relationship with STONEBOUY n his fans and you weren’t fair to me at all ! I’m hurt but we move. God knows my intentions! It’s all good” The post added.
“In the name of EGO, you all expect me to embarrass SHATAWALE live on Tv when he stood up to extend a gesture I have never requested ! I insisted he had to explain to the world why he want to give me money before he attempts to so why?”
