Ghanaian Dancehall artistes, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr, popularly known as Shatta Wale claimed he lost a four million record deal after his former Manager, Lawrence Asiamah Hanson also known as Bullgod released a track from his album, Gift of God, (GOG).
He said all documentations were done for the record company to send him the money but unfortunately, Bulldog released the song three days to the payment day and the company stopped the transaction.
Speaking on Kessben FM, Shatta Wale said the Entertainment pundit and Artiste Manager want to do something to disgrace him but it won’t work.
“I have done big International collaborations, my album “Gift Of God” (GOG) that I wanted to release but because he was working with me by that time he left me. He felt had something that he would use to disgrace me. So he brought that thing out and at that time he brought that thing out, I had a deal with a record company that wanted to give me USD 4M. So I got very pissed. I lost that money because all the documentation was done and they wanted to do a roll out for me.” Shatta Wale said.
According to him, he was very hurt after the incident and started to write things Bulldog told him about former President John Dramani Mahama.
“So when the track came out, they called me and asked who released the track in the track lists and I said my former Manager. And the boss in that record company said they couldn’t continue the transaction anymore and it was like three days for them to send that money. So I was very hurt and I started to write things Bull dog told me about Mahama.” He added.
