The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), Kofi Ofosu Nkansah has reacted to a viral video of Kumawood actor, Kwaku Manu jokingly campaigning with a T-shirt with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) colours.
In the said video, Kwaku Manu was heard saying ” We are still campaigning, the truth is that if you will vote for us vote if you will not vote for us go away. Whatever we were looking for in government we have already received it, you cares. You want us to beg you before you vote and you are complaining about your thumb, roast it and eat.”
“I want a man to come out and ask me why I am talking like that and I will let the Police arrest you. We have already won the election, if you don’t vote for us we will rig it, if you like come and vote for us in peace else we will rig the election.” Kwaku Manu jokingly stated.
Reacting to this on Facebook, Ofosu Nkansah called on people around the actor to tell him to stop misbehaving with NPP colors.
According to him, he has every right as a citizen to support any political party he wants but the NPP will not take such mischief from him.
“Those who know Kwaku Manu should tell him to stop misbehaving with NPP colors. He has every right to support any party of his choice but we won’t take such mischief from him.” The NEIP boss wrote on Facebook.
Kofi Ofosu Nkansah is not the only person who has reacted to the viral video of Kwaku Manu and it is not clear whether the actor was doing that in favor of any political party ahead of the general election.
