Head Coach for Dreams FC, Abdul Karim Zito, says although his side have been struggling in the first round of the 2024 Ghana Premier League Season, he is of high hopes that the second round of the season will be easy for Dreams FC.
Dreams FC are currently sitting 15th on the Ghana Premier League table, winning 3, drawing 2, and losing 6 out of the 11 games played so far in the season.
The team under Karim Zito have scored 4 goals and conceded 7 goals with 11 points.
However, Karim Zito’s side have moved past their early season struggles and are unbeaten in their last three games, racking up two draws and a win.
Karim Zito, in a recent interview with the media, expressed his desire for the team to finish the first round of the Ghana Premier League on a high note, as he eyes a strong second half of the season.
“I want us to finish the first round on a good note because the second round will be a bit easier for us.
“For now, we have to maintain our focus on goal scoring and try to win all our home matches.” He said.
The experienced tactician believes that his squad’s solid form in the first half will set them up for a successful run in the latter stages of the campaign.
He was however quick to add that the team is not safe from being relegated from the Premier League and therefore needs to work on their scoring abilities.
“The second round will be a little bit easier for us even though we’re out from the last position on the table, we’re still not safe yet”
Dreams FC’s next game in the league is against Karela Unite who are currently occupying the last position on the league table.
