Former and now incoming First Lady Melania Trump has reacted to the election victory of the Former President and President-elect Donald Trump.
She said their victory means the majority of Americans have entrusted them with important responsibility.
In a post on X, Melania Trump stated that the government under her husband will safeguard the heart of our republic – freedom.
“The majority of Americans have entrusted us with this important responsibility.” She wrote.
Adding that “We will safeguard the heart of our republic – freedom. I anticipate the citizens of our nation rejoining in commitment to each other and rising above ideology for the sake of individual liberty, economic prosperity, and security.”
According to her, “American energy, skill, and initiative will bring together our best minds to propel our nation forward forevermore.”
Donald Trump has been elected again as the US president.
Following his victory, some Leaders across the globe have congratulated him and wished him well.
Former President Bill Clinton and ex-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said “The American people have voted, and Donald Trump and JD Vance will be the next president and vice president of the United States. We wish them well and hope they will govern for all of us.”
