Management of 3Music Awards has announced the return of the event in September 2024 after a year-long hiatus.
Ghanaian music awards ceremony held annually since 2018 to celebrate Ghanaian music is aimed at celebrating creativity, talent, and vibrant culture.
Announcing the return of the awards, the CEO of 3Music Network, Rashidatu Yasmine Abdulai indicated that they have put in place measures to ensure 3Music Awards celebrates musical excellence and sets new industry standards.
“Today, I am thrilled to announce the return of the 3Music Awards in September. I repeat, 3Music Awards come in September. After a year-long hiatus, we have reimagined our approach to ensure 3Music Awards celebrates musical excellence and sets new industry standards.” She announced.
She added that “The 3Music Awards is more than an event; it is a celebration of creativity, talent, and vibrant culture. This year, we are introducing fresh elements to captivate the audience and honor the artists who inspire us. Our renewed commitment is to showcase the best in music and amplify the voices of our artistes, creating an inclusive and unforgettable experience,”
Rashidatu Yasmine Abdulai expressed her profound gratitude to the Board and partners, sponsors and everyone who has contributed to the sustainability of the 3Music Awards over the years.
“I extend my profound gratitude to the Board, our partners, sponsors and everyone who has supported us over the years. Your unwaiving believe in our mission has been instrumental in bringing 3Music Awards back to life.” She stressed.
3Music Awards was launched in 2018 and was held at the Fantasy Dome, Trade fair Site, La.
They awarded artists of the various categories such as Artiste of the Year, Song of the Year, Male Act of the Year, Female Act of the Year, Album of the Year, Reggae/Dancehall Act of the Year, Hiplife/Hop-Pop Act of the Year, Hilife Act of the Year, Best Performers of the Year, AfroBeat/AfroPop Song of the Year.
